Meet Coach Jordan
Coach Jordan Anderson is a health, breathwork, and mindset coach for athletes. She works with teams and individual athletes on creating and implementing healthy lifestyle habits, perspective shifts, nervous system regulations techniques, and enhancing their present moment awareness to feel and perform their best.
Jordan is a former D1 athlete from Arizona, currently based out of Huntington Beach, California. She played women’s volleyball at Northern Arizona University from 2015-2018 and currently holds the single season digs record. She also concluded her indoor career as third all-time in Lumberjack history with 1,457 digs. Jordan earned a number of accolades in her time at NAU, including being a two-time Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week honoree. In her final match at NAU, she tallied 24 digs in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the highest dig total by a Lumberjack in a NCAA Tournament match.
As a competitive athlete, Jordan worked with a Sports Performance Coach who helped her navigate and overcome performance anxiety, time and health mismanagement, and any other factors that negatively affected her level of play when left unresolved. This experience was transformational and sparked her passion for helping other athletes achieve their highest potential.
Throughout her growth process, Jordan has developed a deep understanding of the impact that managing one’s emotions, thoughts, and environments can have on performance in both sport and life.
Jordan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication and her Master’s Degree in Higher Education. She’s a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, as well as a Certified Breathwork Facilitator. She currently holds her AAA rating in beach volleyball (the highest level of amateur beach volleyball tournaments, also known as Open or semi pro.)
When she’s not coaching her athletes, Jordan can be found at the beach playing volleyball, challenging herself with a cold plunge, or leading a sound bath meditation with friends.
